The Redhill Valleys are a four-piece Alt-Country and Roots Rock band from Hamilton, ON. After being named runner-ups at the 2017 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase, the band garnered much attention in the Canadian Country music scene as they set out on an East Coast tour and were named CMAO Artist of the Month for October and were awarded as finalists in Canada's Walk of Fame’s Emerging Artists Program. They released their debut self-titled record in 2016 and have recently in February of 2019, released their latest single ‘Living in Yesterday.’ In 2018 the band gained nationwide exposure after being chosen as one of Canada’s top 9 in the SiriusXM Top of The Country Contest, and was simultaneously awarded as top 5 finalists in Slaight Music’s ‘It’s Your Shot’ music discovery program.
The group draws much influence from artists like The Band and Lucinda Williams, as well as Neil Young, Tom Petty whom they’ve covered songs of before (Listen to their covers of ‘Harvest Moon’ and ‘Love is a Long Road’), but ultimately have created their own unique sound and identity. Check them out this summer at Big Sky Music Festival as they return back home to the Burl’s Creek stage.
